TierOne Corporation (TierOne) operates as the holding company for TierOne Bank; a federally chartered savings bank based in Lincoln, Nebraska. The bank has grown to become the largest publicly-traded financial institution and ranks as one of the largest publicly held thrifts in the Midwest. Its product line comprised of residential, commercial and agricultural real estate financing; consumer, construction, business and agricultural loans and lines of credit; consumer and business checking and savings plans; investment and insurance services; and telephone and Internet banking convenience. The bank offers a wide range of products and services to its customers through a diversified network of 69 banking offices in Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas. The TierOne Bank has two wholly owned subsidiaries, TMS Corporation of the Americas (TMS) and United Farm & Ranch Management, Inc. (UFARM). The company is headquartered at Nebraska in the US.The company reported revenues of (U.S. Dollars) USD 181.77 million during the fiscal year ended December 2008, a decrease of 22.33% from 2007. The operating profit of the company was USD 87.36 million during the fiscal year 2008, a decrease of 24.76% from 2007. The net loss of the company was USD 75.24 million during the fiscal year 2008, as compared to a net loss of USD 12.43 million during 2007.
