Cabot Corporation (Cabot) is a US based specialty chemicals and performance materials company. Cabot engages in the manufacture of performance materials including carbon black tires, fumed silica, tantalum, colorants, cesium formate, and aerogels. These products are used in tires, adhesives, cell phones, ink jet printers, oil and gas drilling and insulation panels. Cabot operates in three geographical regions, namely, the Americas; Europe, Middle East and Africa; and Asia Pacific. It has operations in around 20 countries. Cabot operates along with its subsidiaries and affiliates. The company, through its affiliates and subsidiaries, owns and operates manufacturing plants throughout the world. The company is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts, the US.
