Lee County Utilities (LCU) is engaged in providing drinking water and sewer services for Lee county. It has six water treatment facilities namely Corkscrew, Green Meadows, Olga, Pinewoods, North Lee County and Waterway Estates. Its treatment facilities can treat 41.8 million gallons of water per day. Its facilities gets water from Sandstone & surficial aquifers, Caloosahatchee river and lower Hawthorne. LCU owns and operates eight wastewater plants. LCU wastewater plants can treat 20 Million gallons per day. The company is headquartered in Ft. Myers, Florida, the US.
