Jefferson Parish Water Department (Jefferson Parish) is a utility company, provides drinking water in the Jefferson Parish. It produces and delivers high quality, reliable water supply to all residences, businesses and industries located within the Parish on the East and West Banks of the Mississippi River. Jefferson Parish provides water utility services to 140,000 accounts. The four water plants of East Bank purification complex production capacity is 87 million gallons per day. The two water plants of West Bank purification complex production capacity is 44 million gallons per day. The Jefferson Parish distribution system contains approximately 1,600 miles of water mains 20,000 valves, and 15,000 hydrants. Jefferson Parish is headquartered at Jefferson in Louisiana, the US.
