Flexible Solar Cell Technologies
Flexible solar cell technologies (FSCT) is a solar modules manufacturing company. The company was formed through the partnership between the McMaster University engineering faculty and the Xerox Centre of Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation (XEEI). It is engaged in the manufacturing flexible solar modules. The company uses photovoltaic technologies and different assembling methods in producing the efficiency of silicon cells with the flexibility of thin film systems. It utilizes dicing process, contacting method, sunlight maximum absorption and recovering technologies that are used for reconnecting cells on a flexible substrate, enhancing the light absorption and for reducing the silicon content required for reaching the power ratings. FSCT packages are of wide range with different sizes and ratings that are widely used in residential homes, hybrid cars, novelty architecture and military applications. The company is headquartered at Hamilton in Ontario, Canada.
