Meikle Automation Inc. (Meikle) is an independent automation company. The company engaged in the automation of assembly system, test, inspection and material handling systems as well as Data Acquisition & SCADA Software. The company also provides customaries engineering solutions, integrated turnkey system and built to print services to numerous clients of various industries. At present, the company caters its product and services to Life Sciences (Medical), Photovoltaics (Solar), Automotive, Micro Electronics and Consumer Products industries. The Meikle was incorporated in 1994 at Kitchener, Canada and employs 350 employees.

At present, the company carries out its business activities through four business segments namely Automotive, Electronics, Life Sciences and Photovoltaic. In addition to this, the company operates six vertically integrated facilities (small system I, large systems I & II) in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. The company under its automotive business segment provides automation solutions to the automotive industry as well as assembly processes to tier one and tier two auto parts manufacturers. The company`s electronics business segments develops, manufactures, and supports automation and assembly test systems for the automation of electronic and semi conductor devices. On the other hands, their life sciences business segment develops and provides innovative solutions for the Life Sciences industry. In addition, it has ability to move medical device from the lab to full-scale production.

The company through its photovoltaic business segments engaged in designing, developing, manufacturing and assembly of solar modules. It also consult and suggest its client for the maximize profits, minimize risk and ensure rapid project deliveries. At present, the company manufacture wafer of different sizes like 114 mm, 125 mm, 156 mm and 210 mm. the company manufacture wafer tester, which comprised of edge breakage, wafer geometry and sheet resistivity measurements; standard good part and reject handling system; options for micro-crack, saw mark detection, wafer thickness, bow. Apart foem this, the company also carries out module assembly, material handling systems and system integration, extrusion crimp and standard modules.
