The company primarily focuses on international trading and investment, and engineering and construction. The engineering and construction group of the company engages in building works, civil works, plant works and housing works. The trading and investment group of the company engages in natural resource development, manufacture and sale of electronic products, trading of chemicals, iron and steel, basic materials, plant supply and operation of brands for textile industry. The company is headquartered at Seoul in Korea.
In May 2009, the company along with Hyundai Lotem signed a contract with the British Airports Authority (BAA) to supply 28 boarding bridges that are been used to connect boarding bridges and aircraft . The boarding bridges are valued worth 9.5 million dollars.The company reported revenues of (Won) KRW 20,483,417.89 million during the fiscal year ended December 2008, an increase of 25.35% over 2007. The operating profit of the company was KRW 472,068.70 million during the fiscal year 2008, a decrease of 32.37% from 2007. The net profit of the company was KRW 345,649.89 million during the fiscal year 2008, a decrease of 27.66% from 2007.
