Rabigh Arabian Water and Electricity Company
Rabigh Arabian Water & Electricity Company (RAWEC) is engaged in developing and operating the Rabigh IWSPP (independent water, steam and power producer). This project lies within the Rabigh complex which is the integrated refinery and petrochemical complex. The complex is formed through the joint venture of Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical. It produces power, water and steam through thermal power plant and desalination facility. The company has a net power output of 360 MW; net steam output of 1,230 t/h; and net water output of 5,580 t/h.
