Panhandle Rural Electric Membership Association (PREMA) is a rural electric cooperative. The company is principally engaged in the provision of safe, reliable, efficient and economical electricity to its member owners in Western Nebraska. PREMA operates 2,744 miles of distribution line to provide electric service to 3,605 services. The company serves parts of 11 counties including Butte, Sioux, Sheridan, Grant, Hooker, Arthur, Morrill, Garden, Cherry, Dawes and McPherson counties. PREMA provides electrical service to residential, commercial, farm and ranch within its service area. In addition, the company also provides special services and energy saving products to its members. PREMA is headquartered in Alliance, Nebraska, the US.
