Majan Electricity Company S.A.O.C
Majan Electricity Company S.A.O.C (MJEC) is an Oman based company, engaged in distribution of electricity. The company distributes regulated electricity under a license issued by the Authority for Electricity Regulation, Oman. MJEC operates across the North Batinah and the Dhahirah regions. The company is owned by the Electricity Holding Company (EHC) and the Ministry of Finance. Further, MJEC has spanned its core business of electricity network in an authorized area of 50,250 km2 in Al-Batinah & Al-Dahirah regions and Buraimi governance area.
Currently, the company renders its services to almost 124, 572 customer base and sold 2,650,189 MWh of power approximately. It caters its electricity distribution services through 105 substations of 33/11 KV and with 6500 substations of 11/0.433 KV, with a peak demand of 653.8 MW.
