Grundy County Rural Electric Cooperative
Grundy County Rural Electric Cooperative (GCREC), is a member owned non profit electric cooperative. The cooperative engages in provision of electrical power and energy related products and services such as electrical grills, smokers, water heaters, energy audits and payment options to its members. It provides service to around 1,804 members covering 2,272 meters of area across Grundy, Black Hawk, Marshall, Tama, Butler and Hardin counties in the states of Iowa. The distribution services for the company is provided by Corn Belt Power Cooperative that operates and maintains 916 miles of distribution system, which is fed from nine sub stations. The cooperative is headquartered in Iowa, the US.
