Westwood Engineering Ltd. (Westwood Engineering) is an comprehensive electrical and instrumentation services company. The company is an operating subsidiary of Westwood Companies. It is engaged in providing electrical, heat tracing and instrumentation services, engineering and design work services for all industries including oil and gas, co-generation facilities, wood products and mining. It portfolio of services includes, instrumentation, design studies, field instruments, site support, and start-up assistance.

In the power sector, Westwood provided the electrical field services for a 20.8 MW wood burning electrical generating station and a 12 kV-138 kV Substation. Furthermore, Westwood was contracted by BC Hydro to undertake the Enderby, BC substation project which included the electrical field construction and project management of a new 20 MVA transformer and distribution system. It was also contracted by Canadian Hydro Developers to provide the electrical field services for a “run-of-river” 30 MW powerhouse and associated 12 kV-69 kV substation near Revelstoke.
