CONPET S.A. PLOIESTI (CONPET) is a national crude oil pipeline operating company. The company is principally engaged in supplying of domestic and imported crude oil and crude oil derivatives (rich gas, condensate and liquid ethane) to the Romanian refineries. The company operates through its 7 transport plants, 31 functional compartments, 2 maintenance sections and a product quality inspection laboratory and other eight divisions. CONPET first crude oil transport pipeline was constructed in Prahova district for the delivery of crude oil from Bustenari area to Baicoi Railway Station. In addition, CONPET also operates pumping stations, loading and unloading ramps, railway tanks and tank farms. It carries out crude oil pipeline transport activities in Romania. Its major business partners includes PETROM SA (Petrobrazi and Arpechim Refineries), ROMPETROL-RAFINARE SA, RAFO ONESTI SA and PETREOTEL-LUKOIL SA. CONPET is headquartered in Ploiesti, Romania.
