Apar Industries Limited (Apar) operates in the diverse fields of electrical, metallurgical and chemical engineering. It offers products and services in power transmission conductors and petroleum specialties. The company operates through Transformer & other Speciality Oils division and Conductor division. The company has production facilities in Rabale, Maharashtra; Silvassa, Union Territory of Dadra Nahar Haveli; and Nalagarth, Himachal Pradesh. The company was founded in 1958. It is headquartered in Mumbai, India.

Apar`s Speciality Oil division is a pioneer and largest producers of POWEROIL Transformer Oils in Southeast Asia. The division has five diversified product lines, namely, transformer oils, white oils and liquid paraffins, industrial & automotive oils and lubricants, rubber process oils, and ink oils. Apar`s Conductor division is the largest producers of POWERLINE Aluminum and Alloy Conductors, in Asia. The company through the aluminum conductor division manufactures all types of bare overhead aluminum conductors and GS earth wires. Furthermore, Apar, for Automotive Lubricants, entered into a license agreement with ENI. Under this agreement, the company will manufacture and market high end automotive and specialty industrial lubricants under the AGIP brand in India.

Apar`s subsidiaries are, namely, Petroleum Specialities Pte. Ltd (PSPL), Quantum Apar Speciality Oils Pty. Ltd., Poweroil Speciality Products FZE U.A.E., and Uniflex Cables Ltd. PSPL deals mainly in transformer oils and white oils through its subsidiaries and/or tie–ups in Australia, South Africa and Turkey. Quantum Apar Speciality Oils is involved in marketing of specialty lubricants. Uniflex Cables is engaged in the business of manufacture of PVC / Elastomeric cables. In addition, Apar Chematek Lubricants Ltd is a 50:50 joint venture of the company with Chematek SpA, Italy. Apar acquired stake in Uniflex Cables Ltd. in the fiscal year 2007-08. Later, Uniflex Cables acquired the entire paid up equity capital of M/s. Marine Cables & Wires Private Limited.
