Gems is a division of Danaher Corporation. The company designs and manufactures these products for various industries such as nuclear, marine and industrial. Gems is involved in offering continuos level transmitters for utilizing in a nuclear installation. In addition, the company is also offering single-point sensors, multi-point sensors and continuous level sensors. The company manufactures an array of water level sensors and pressure switch devices in every area of water and wastewater treatment plants. Moreover, the company offers ExOsense non intrusive liquid level sensor and new rugged electro-optic level sensor. It is also offering pressure transducers and pressure transmitters in three proven technologies namely sputtered thin film, chemical vapor deposition and capacitance. The company has its operations in United Kingdom, United States, France, China, Germany, Japan and Italy. It is headquartered at Plainville in Connecticut, United States.
In 2009, the company launched a new line of magnetically actuated proximity switches for the most basic to the most complex customer applications.
