The company has developed a turbine generator to extract energy from tides, ocean currents and streams. The generator would work under unidirectional aswell as bidirectional wind flows. The FFPC Energy Projects will generate 2,000 MW of electricity or power enough to 1.7 million homes. The company initially is developing hydrokinetic projects in the US and is planning to spread across the globe later. Its projects will lessen the carbondioxide to a large extent and could be as low as 12million tons. The generator and the projects will reduce reliance on fossil fuels and provide jobs in manufacturing and project construction. FFPC is headquartered at Gloucester in Massachusettes, the US.
