WNPOC is also involved in the in the exploration, development and production of hydrocarbon resources. It is a joint operation company between Petronas of Malaysia and Sudapet of Sudan. WNPOC various blocks partners includes Petronas, ONGC Videsh and Sudapet for Block 5A; Petronas, Lundin,ONGC Videsh and Sudapet for Block 5B and Petronas , Hi Tech Petroleum and Sudapet for Block 8. WNPOC is headquartered in Khartoum, Sudan.
