Qatargas Operating Company Limited

Qatargas Operating Company Limited (QOCL) is LNG supplying company. It is engaged in exploration and production, refining, transmission of natural gas. QOCL produces liquefied natural gas (LNG), helium, sulphur and exports these products to Spain, Japan, France, and United States. It operates four LNG projects namely Qatargas 1, Qatargas 2, Qatargas 3 and Qatargas 4.

QOCL operated 20 production wells being drilled and completed to supply 1,600 million standard cubic feet of raw natural gas per day from the field`s reservoir, underneath the seabed. It has a fleet of 11 vessels, each with a capacity of 135,000 cubic presently in operation for the transportation of LNG from Qatargas to its Japanese buyers. It was incorporated in year 1984 and headquartered at Doha in Qatar.
