Pacific Asia Petroleum, Inc. (Pacific Asia) incorporated in 2005, is an energy company. The company is engaged in the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas in Asia and the Pacific Rim countries. Pacific Asia has a contract to develop and exploit oil resources in the ShaoGen Contract Area, that comprises an area of about 353 square kilometers located in Chifeng, China. The company has gained rights to a potential contract area for coal bed methane and tight gas production in the Shanxi state of China. Pacific Asia has four wholly owned subsidiaries and joint ventures, namely Inner Mongolia Production Company (HK) Limited (IMPCO HK), IMPCO Sunrise, Pacific Asia Petroleum (HK) Limited (PAP HK), and Pacific Asia Petroleum, Limited (PAPL). The company is headquartered at Hartsdale in New York, the US.
