Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD
Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD (BEH) is a Bulgaria based holding company engaged in the supply, transmission, transit and storage of natural gas. The company is also engaged in sale, management, distribution, and purchase of electricity, natural gas, thermal power, coals and other energy and raw materials. BEH operates through its holding companies and three wholly owned subsidiaries namely, Bulgargaz EAD, Bulgartransgaz EAD and Bulgartel EAD. The holding companies of BEH include Maritsa East 2 TPP EAD, mini MaritcaI ztok EAD, NEK EAD and Electricity System Operator EAD. It also includes Bulgargaz EAD, Kozloduy NPP EAD, Bulgartransgaz EAD and Bulgartel EAD. BEH is headquartered in Pancho Vladigerov, Bulgaria.
In 2009, the company signed a Memorandum of Understanding with DEPA S.A., and Edison International Holding BV for the construction of Bulgaria-Greece Gas Interconnection project.
