It is primarily engaged in generating of thermal and electrical energy to Trans-Baikal Territory and the Republic of Buryatia. It operates through six branches. The company aims to expand its position in market of hear and electric power. The other services of the company include repair, modernization and reconstruction of energy facilities, Organization of power plants, Supervision and maintenance of electrical installations and more. It has an installed electrical capacity of 633 MW and thermal capacity of 2,707 Gcal. The company is headquartered at Chita, Russia.
