Occidental Chemical Corporation
Occidental Chemical Corporation (OxyChem) is a chemical company, engaged in the manufacture of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins, chlorine and caustic soda. It also provides caustic soda, chlorinated organics, sodium silicates, chlorinated isocyanurates, calcium chloride and resorcinol. OxyChem is a subsidiary of Occidental Petrochemical Corporation. The company also owns two subsidiaries, namely, OxyVinyls, LP and INDSPEC Chemical Corporation. Occidental has a joint venture with Church & Dwight Co., Inc. and has formed Armand Products Company, which sells potassium carbonate and potassium bicarbonate. In addition, it has a joint venture with Univar and formed Carbocloro S.A., which manufactures and sells chlor-alkali products. The company is headquartered in Dallas, the US.
