West Florida Electric Cooperative, Inc.
West Florida Electric Cooperative (WFEC) is a member owned non-profit multi utility. The company is engaged in the distribution of electrical power. In addition, WFEC also offers home appliances and electronics & satellite systems to its members in Calhoun, Holmes, Jackson and Washington Counties in Northwest Florida. The company maintains a large area of distribution line and has approximately equal number of meters installed in nine districts. WFEC purchases power from PowerSouth Energy Cooperative (PSECo), a wholesale supplier of electrical power to rural cooperative wholly owned by several distribution cooperative and municipalities. The company generates electricity from diverse fuel mix including coal, natural gas, hydro, compresssed air and methane gas. WFEC is headquartered in Florida, the US.
