TwentyNinety (TwentyNinety) is renewable energy company that develops technology for renewable energy industry. The first technology developed by the company was Active Array, to provide photovoltaic management using minimum infrastructure. Active Array is a wireless application that is integrated into junction box of photovoltaic panels. This technology was patented in 2006 and was commercialized in 2008. This technology proves to be a benefit to end users, installers and PV manufacturers. TwentyNinety has received funding of £230,000 for a photovoltaic enabling technology that is used to improve the performance and safety of solar panels while reducing installation costs. The other technologies developed by the company are the the active tag and active combiner. The company is headquartered in Farnham, Surrey, the UK.
