Sonatrach (Sonatrach) is a state owned oil and gas producer and refiner in Algeria. It is involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas, and refining, marketing and distribution of petroleum products. It operates over 100 plants and facilities. Its transportation network consists of several crude and condensate pipelines and natural gas pipelines. The company manages approximately 16,200 kilometers of hydrocarbon pipelines. It markets its products principally in Western Europe and the US and is also establishing its presence in Central Europe and Asia. The company is headquartered in Algiers, Algeria.
