The company operates through three strategic segments, namely, Consumer & Do-It-Yourself (CDIY), Industrial, and Security. Some of the brands of the company include Stanley, FatMax, MaxGrip, DynaGrip, IntelliTools, PowerLock, Tanley, Proto, Husky, Vidmar, ZAG, MAC, Jensen, Contact East, Bostitch, Atro, Cobotics, and LaBounty. The company principally operates in America, Europe and Asia. Currently, Stanley is focusing on expanding into emerging markets such as China, Taiwan, South East Asia, India, Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, through its Industrial & Automotive Tools businesses. Stanley is headquartered in New Britain (Connecticut), the US.The company reported revenues of (U.S. Dollars) USD 3,737.10 million during the fiscal year ended January 2009, a decrease of 15.57% from 2008. The operating profit of the company was USD 283.30 million during the fiscal year 2009, a decrease of 3.38% from 2008. The net profit of the company was USD 224.30 million during the fiscal year 2009, a decrease of 26.91% from 2008.
