Reynolds American Inc. (RAI) is a holding company for R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company (RJR Tobacco) and Conwood Company, LLC (Conwood), which manufactures cigarette and smokeless tobacco products in the US. The company sells its cigarette products under the brands Camel, Kool, Pall Mall, Doral, Winston as well as Salem, Misty and Capri. It also manages contract manufacturing of cigarette and tobacco products through arrangements with BAT affiliates. The company offers loose leaf chewing tobacco, dry snuff, plug and twist tobacco products. RAI sells moist snuff products under Grizzly and Kodiak brands. Further, it also distributes a range of other tobacco products, including Winchester and Captain Black little cigars, and Bugler roll-your-own tobacco. The company is headquartered at Winston-Salem, the US.The company reported revenues of (U.S. Dollars) USD 8,845.00 million during the fiscal year ended December 2008, a decrease of 1.97% from 2007. The operating profit of the company was USD 2,380.00 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 4.02% over 2007. The net profit of the company was USD 1,338.00 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 2.29% over 2007.
