Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Public Company Limited (STECON) is an engineering and construction company. It is engaged in civil and mechanical works in the area of buildings, infrastructure, energy, environment and industrial projects. The company operates and offers services as a main contractor, sub-contractor, and joint venture partner to both government and private sector clients. The company classifies its construction services into five categories, namely, Infrastructure Construction, Industrial, Building Construction, Power and Energy and Environmental Projects. Additionally, the company through its subsidiary HTR Corporation is engaged into real estate development. STECON is headquartered in Bangkok, Thailand.
STECON signed a contract for accomplishing S1600 General Mechanical Work for Specialty Elastomer Trains III. The company signed a share sale and purchase agreement with STP&I Public Company Limited for acquiring 46% of shares of Inter IMC Pte Ltd.The company reported revenues of (Baht) THB 14,589.84 million during the fiscal year ended December 2008, a decrease of 15.58% from 2007. The operating profit of the company was THB 309.65 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 148.03% over 2007. The net profit of the company was THB 178.07 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 721.72% over 2007.
