Portland-Montreal Pipe Line
Portland-Montreal Pipe Line (PMPL) is engaged in oil storage and distribution Pipeline Company. PMPL owns and operates a tanker unloading facility, two tank farms located in South Portland, Maine and Montreal, Quebec; and a system of pump stations and crude oil pipelines from the state of Maine to Quebec. It provides services to refineries. PMPL consists of two companies namely Portland Pipe Line Corporation and Montreal Pipe Line Limited. Portland Pipe Line is a wholly owned subsidiary of Montreal Pipe Line, a privately held Maine corporation. Its tanker unloading facility consists of a newly renovated pier in South Portland, consisting of 23 tanks with storage capacity of 3.5 million barrels. It has the operations carried out in the United States and Canada. The company is headquartered at Quebec, Canada.
