Jadranski naftovod d.d. (JANAF), is a oil transportation company. It manages an oil pipeline system and engaged in cost efficient crude oil transportation system for both local and foreign users. It also engages in the other major activities such as reloading and storage of crude oil and oil products. The company is headquartered at Zagreb, Croatia.
The company is engaged in two major projects namely, The Druzba Adria project and The PEOP project. The Druzba Adria project envisages oil export from the Russian Federation through Belarus, Ukraine, Slovakia, Hungary and Croatia from the Port of Omisalj. This project enables oil producers in Russia to diversify their export routes and conquer new markets whereas the project of Pan European Oil Pipeline (PEOP) has export route for both Caspian and Russian crude oil from the Black Sea.The company reported revenues of (Croatian Kuna) HRK 360.78 million during the fiscal year ended December 2008, an increase of 9.90% over 2007. The operating profit of the company was HRK 68.42 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 48.35% over 2007. The net profit of the company was HRK 53.64 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 36.05% over 2007.
