PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. (WIKA) is a holding company. The company through its subsidiaries is engaged in construction, real estate and engineering procurement and construction (EPC) services. As part of construction activity, WIKA is engaged in construction of power plants, water works, residential and commercial buildings, and transportation infrastructure. It also is into trading, manufacturing of industrial products and mechanical and electrical installation. In addition, the company leases heavy equipment for completing its projects to other subsidiaries and group companies. The subsidiaries of the company include WIKA Gedungpt, WIKA Investama, Wijaya Karya Beton, PT Wijaya Karya Realty and PT Wijaya Karya Intrade. The company through its two joint venture companies WTP and WIKA NGK is engaged in construction of toll roads and manufacturing of high voltage insulators, respectively. WIKA has eight manufacturing plants in Indonesia. The company operates in Indonesia, UAE, and Algeria. The company is headquartered in Jakarta.

For the third quarter ended September 2009, the total revenues for the company stood at IDR 4,580,162 million, an increase of 0.32% in comparison to the same period in the previous fiscal. As on October 2009, the order book for the company stood at IDR 16.72 trillion.The company reported revenues of (Rupiah) IDR 6,559,077.28 million during the fiscal year ended December 2008, an increase of 53.09% over 2007. The operating profit of the company was IDR 237,752.36 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 9.58% over 2007. The net profit of the company was IDR 156,034.40 million during the fiscal year 2008, an increase of 20.83% over 2007.
