Sakarya Elektrik Dagitim A.S. (SEDAS) is engaged in the distribution of electricity. The company is also engaged in the construction and operation of distribution facilities to provide uninterrupted electricity distribution, metering, charging and collection of debts for the consumption of electricity. SEDAS distributes electricity through 33,895 km of its own distribution lines and 15,302 km of the third party distribution lines. The company provides its services across 19,358 sq. meter area, in four cities including Sakarya, Kocaeli, Bolu and Duzce, 45 districts, 109 towns and 1473 villages. SEDAS caters its services to residential, commercial, industrial, and other customers. The company is a subsidiary of CEZ Inc., Akenerji Electricity Generation Inc., and Akkök Industry Investment and Development Inc. SEDAS has an installed power capacity of 2,600 MVA and a Peak Power of 1,475 MW. The company has purchased 9,348.513 million KWH off electricity and sold 8,760.455 million KWH. SEDAS is headquartered in Maltepe, Turkey.
