CSC's IT and business process outsourcing operations includes all or a portion of a customer’s technology infrastructures such as systems analysis, network operations, applications development, desktop computing and data center management. The entire business of the company is operated through three broad service lines, namely, Business Solutions and Services (BS&S), Global Outsourcing Services (GOS) and North American Public Sector (NPS). The company is headquartered at Virginia, the US.In June 2009, CSC signed USD 50 million information technology (IT) outsourcing contracts with five UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) companies and the Civil Nuclear Police Authority (CNPA).The company reported revenues of (U.S. Dollars) USD 16,739.90 million during the fiscal year ended April 2009, an increase of 1.46% over 2008. The operating profit of the company was USD 949.10 million during the fiscal year 2009, an increase of 3.40% over 2008. The net profit of the company was USD 1,115.20 million during the fiscal year 2009, an increase of 104.77% over 2008.
