WestJet Names EVP of Operations
Mr Kenyon joins the airline from Lynx Aviation in Denver, Colorado, where he served as president and COO since 2008 and was responsible for safety, security and regulatory compliance, human resources, accounting, flight operations, maintenance and engineering, airport customer service and the operations control center.
Prior to this role with Lynx Aviation, Mr Kenyon worked as the director of flight operations training, chief pilot, and subsequently as vice-president, flight operations, at Frontier Airlines from 2000 to 2008.
Mr Kenyon then served in the US navy from 1986 to 1994 in a variety of positions including pilot training officer, safety officer, mission commander and standardization pilot.
WestJet Airlines offers scheduled service throughout its 69-city North American and Caribbean network. The company offers legroom, leather seats and live seatback television provided by Bell TV on its fleet of 87 Boeing Next-Generation 737 aircraft.
WestJet code share partnerships with some of the airlines, which include: Air France, Cathay Pacific Airways, China Airlines and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
