US Airways Resumes Flights to Baton Rouge
The airlines said that customers traveling from the Louisiana state capital now have access to more than 120 domestic and international destinations through Charlotte, where US Airways has expanded its service to 612 daily departures.
Baton Rouge is the second domestic destination to return to service this year from US Airways' Charlotte hub; service to Melbourne. Since May 13, 2010, the airline has added new nonstop service to Rome, Ottawa, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos from Charlotte.
Terri Pope, vice president of Charlotte Hub for US Airways, said: “US Airways customers and members of the Charlotte community have benefited from our continued development of our largest hub. Each day, US Airways connects approximately 40,000 customers to small, medium and large communities through Charlotte Douglas International Airport.”
Will the new flight services benefit the airline customers?
