US Airways April Traffic Down
Total consolidated available seat miles (ASMs) was 5.98 billion in April 2010, a decrease of 2.6 percent, compared to 6.14 billion for April 2009. Consolidated load factor for the month was 82.2 percent, down 1.9 points, compared to 84.1 percent in April 2009.
For the year-to-date 2010, the airline reported consolidated revenue RPMs of 18.42 billion, a decrease of 2.7 percent compared to 18.94 billion RPMs for the same period in 2009. Total consolidated available seat miles was 23.27 billion, down 2.6 percent, compared to 23.88 billion ASMs for the same period in 2009.
Total consolidated load factor for the year-to-date 2010 was 79.2 percent, a decrease of 0.1 points compared to 79.3 percent for year-to-date 2009.
