Rock-It Cargo Buys Certain Assets of Core and B.E. Logistics
As part of the deal, B.E. and Core Logistics will be integrated to form Rock-It Cargo's Corporate Expedited Group. This group will handle domestic and international emergency and expedited time definite freight, including high-value, oversized shipments for the high-tech industry.
Daniel Dvorsky, former president and CEO of B.E. Logistics is now the executive vice president for the group.
Rock-It Cargo's Corporate Expedited Group will be marketed under the Core Logistics brand name. Daryl Miller, former CEO of Core Logistics Corporation, has been named vice president and division head.
Core Logistics is a privately held, vertically integrated third-party logistics service provider. The firm specializes in helping companies operate efficient supply chains. Services range from distribution center operations and transportation management to technology-focused solutions.
B.E. Logistics is provider of time-definite surface transportation and related logistics services to the North American deferred air freight market. The firm niche is the transportation of electronics, parts, components, and retail consumer products with scheduled delivery days nationwide.
