DHL signs new contract with leading medical device manufacturer
At company-owned plants in France, Germany, Ireland and Switzerland, Stryker manufactures a variety of medical devices, which it sells and distributes to hospitals and doctors across the world. Under the terms of the new contract, Stryker will utilize DHL's door-to-door service for the transport of all its medical devices from Europe to the US and between third countries. "DHL's regulatory expertise has been invaluable in helping us expedite our shipments of medical devices to the US, a necessity for patients that so desperately need them," said Kevin Harris, director of logistics for Stryker. "The support that our company receives from DHL's dedicated sales, customer service, operations, and gateway personnel has been outstanding, and allows us to have our import needs managed seamlessly from pickup to final delivery," Mr Harris continued.
