CaroTrans Opens New Office in Chile

The company team in Chile will be led by Raul Katz, manager for Latin America at CaroTrans, who will be responsible for market development in South America.

With a 20 year history of doing business in South America, CaroTrans with this new hub office will strengthen its position in this region and its overall network of operations in the US, Asia and Oceania.

With this new office in Chile, CaroTrans along with its dedicated partners Craft, Overseas and Inca Line will aim to further strengthen its market position in Brazil, Argentina, Peru and Ecuador.

CaroTrans International is providing global LCL, less than container load, and FCL, full container load services. Through network of offices in Asia, South America, Oceania, and the US, along with our strong local partners, we offer a global reach that is truly unique.

Mr Katz said: “I am excited about leading CaroTrans operations in Chile and we are committed to delivering exceptional LCL (less than container load) and FCL (full container load) import and export service to our local customers.”

Greg Howard, global CEO of CaroTrans, said: “The opening of the CaroTrans Chile office continues our investment in CaroTrans' global infrastructure, and local support and care of customers in South America.

“This is a very important market for the global shipping industry and our expansion makes certain that we will have the resources in place to provide the highest level of customer service and support for our global network.”

Will the move enhance CaroTrans's presence in South America?
