Most recently, Mr Jarvis has served as vice president of finance and administration for ALI, responsible for overseeing all aspects of ALI’s corporate administration, in addition to managing the company’s finances, benefits, insurance, and information technology programs.

Previously, Mr Jarvis has served as customer solutions manager, responsible for everything from seasonal route planning for a major retail account to assisting in operational startups around the country.

ALI is an asset-based transportation logistics company providing third-party logistics services, including dedicated contract carriage, contract warehousing and freight management. ALI serves a variety of industries, including petroleum, chemicals, steel manufacturing, building materials, retail and other household goods.

Darron Eschle, chairman and CEO of ALI, said: “With the continued growth of our organization, it’s become imperative that we strengthen and expand our leadership team. During his 10 years with ALI, Brian has constantly proven his value, and he’s succeeded brilliantly at every opportunity we’ve given him.”

Mr Jarvis said: “I’m excited for the opportunity to guide ALI through this period of continued growth. We grew 22 percent last year, and we expanded our Deer Park, Texas terminal and added another one in Geismer, Louisiana as well.

“We continue to foresee steady growth throughout 2011, and we need to be prepared to meet the challenges our past successes have made possible for us. I’m excited to be given the chance to help take them to a new level.”
