Oracle Develops Trimble GeoManager
The on-demand location-based features of GeoManager will allow organizations to improve fleet performance and the management of mobile workers and distributed assets.
According to Trimble, using Trimble GeoManager with Oracle E-Business suite, customers will be able to see real-time jobs and technician locations on a map, find the nearest vehicle to a job, send messages to the mobile workforce, and view detailed reports.
GeoManager provides engine idling, fuel economy and carbon emissions information for fleet operations and fuel/carbon management programs. Speed, driver performance and engine fault codes can also be monitored and managed with the company's GeoManager solution.
Trimble has added that Oracle E-Business suite provides organizations of all sizes, across all industries and regions with a global business foundation that reduces costs and increases productivity through a portfolio of rapid value solutions, integrated business processes and industry-focused solutions.
