Consist Enters Into $200m Agreement with IBM

According to IBM, Consist will provide its clients in the financial services, telecommunications, energy and utilities, government and healthcare industries with new software applications that embeds IBM's software portfolio to support new IT infrastructure projects. Consist chose to standardize on IBM software to provide clients with a scalable and reliable platform to help transform their business and reduce operational costs.

Consist has unveiled two new software applications built on IBM DB2 database software to help customers efficiently develop, deploy and manage applications across the enterprise and make more informed business decisions. The new applications are the first in a suite of Consist software that will include the entire IBM software portfolio including DB2, Cognos, WebSphere, Rational, Tivoli and Lotus.
