Vance Publishing Hires BDM for Greenbook Group
The Greenbook Group is part of Vance Publishing.
Previously, Mr Donahoo served as the product manager at BASF’s crop protection business unit at Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina. He also served in sales and marketing positions in BASF’s turf & ornamental group and professional vegetation group.
The Greenbook's new product line consists of 23 separate print directories. Each directory covers a different crop or product category, available at different price points.
The group also provides online access to data and is enhancing Greenbook Mobile, the dedicated mobile site where customers can search for products by state, product name, crop site, and specific crop, and view specific rates of application indexed by crop, pest and application method.
Don Ransdell, vice president/publishing director of Vance Publishing, said: “The Greenbook Group recently redesigned its crop-protection products. We will be capitalizing on Philip’s expertise in new product launches and his familiarity with Greenbook’s portfolio of offerings to ensure that these new services and products realize their full market potential.â€
In October 2010, Vance Publishing has named Tim Tobeck as vice president, publishing director of the protein division. Mr Tobeck will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans, creating new products and services, and expanding existing businesses in the division’s digital, event, data and print profit centers.
Founded in 1937, Vance Publishing produces 15 magazines, more than 100 newsletters, over 30 websites, several trade shows and events, a subscription-based data product set, and custom media products. It is headquartered in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
