Rentrak Makes Executive Changes

Mr Vinson formerly was vice president of statistical sciences and analytics. Mr Jones formerly was director of business development for Rentrak's OnDemand Essentials.

With an expertise in mathematics and theoretical physics, Mr Vinson joined Rentrak in 2009 and has since been a vital component in the launch of Rentrak's TV Essentials and StationView Essentials products.

Mr Vinson is expertise in working with set-top-box data for addressability and audience measurement, as well as his statistical modeling experience to provide projections based on large databases, have contributed to Rentrak's transformation from a data company to one that provides knowledge-based insights to our clients.

During his career, Mr Vinson has been granted eight patents relating to mathematical methods for estimating demographics from privacy-compliant digital set-top-box data.

Mr Jones joined Rentrak in 2008 to help drive future business growth for Rentrak through his industry experience in video-on-demand, broadband and linear TV platforms. His work has been critical in the growth of Rentrak's OnDemand essentials, which boasts more than 170 clients with 23 new clients being added in the past year.

Mr Jones is also leading the effort on Rentrak's VOD advertising transparency initiative. This effort will help propel the industry to provide a view of the competitive on-demand landscape in order for agencies to more easily buy this important targeted platform on behalf of their advertising clients.
