Meredith Integrated Marketing Names COO- Digital

Mr Ferguson is joining the company to expand its digital agencies including Genex, O’Grady Meyers, New Media Strategies, Big Communications and The Hyperfactory. His responsibilities will include increasing brand awareness and customer loyalty, and aggressively growing the operations.

Mr Ferguson most recently served as president of Internet at Idearc in Dallas, Texas. Prior to that, he served as CEO for Citysearch, including the overall management and strategic direction of the national and international local search business. His background also includes senior marketing and strategy positions at Yahoo!, Launch Media and EMI Music.

Mr Reidy said: “Meredith Integrated Marketing has achieved strong growth over the last several years, including the addition of leading-edge digital marketing capabilities; Briggs possesses extensive digital experience and a successful track record in creating and maintaining high-growth businesses.

Meredith Integrated Marketing has promoted David Brown to executive vice president and general manager, with expanded oversight of Meredith Integrated Marketing’s core customer relationship marketing business, including direct leadership of Directive, Meredith Integrated Marketing’s database analytics agency. Mr Brown will continue to report to Mr Reidy.
