DIRECTV Appoints Chief Human Resources Officer

DIRECTV has named Joe Bosch as its new executive vice president and chief human resources officer. Mr Bosch will report to Mike White, chairman, president and CEO of the company.

Mr Bosch will be responsible for executive recruitment and talent management, compensation, workforce performance, organizational alignment, training and development, change management, employee and labor relations, employee benefits, and employee communications.

Mr Bosch joins the company from Centex where he served as senior vice president of Human Resources. While at Centex, he rebuilt the senior executive team and established a corporate-wide approach to talent management.

Prior to Centex, Mr Bosch was senior vice president of human resources at Tenet Healthcare. He was also senior vice president and chief people officer at Pizza Hut.

Mr White said: “I am pleased to welcome Mr Bosch to our senior leadership team, he brings to bear a vast array of experience from a wide variety of companies and a track record of building talent and driving organizational performance. His fresh perspective and unique expertise will be invaluable as we continue to grow the business.”
