Financing activities for the Project are nearing completion.Construction work has commenced at 3960 MW Sasan Ultra Mega Power Project. Commissioning schedule of Sasan project has been advanced by three years from the year 2016 to 2013 and Supplementary Power Purchase Agreement is signed in this regard with procurers.Sasan UMPP is at advanced stages of achieving the financial closure and has already obtained loan sanctions for most of the debt required for the project.Construction work has commenced at 300 MW Coal based project at Butibori in MIDC area of Nagpur, Maharashtra.Construction work has commenced at 4,000 MW Krishnapatnam Ultra Mega Power Project.Government of India informed Mumbai High Court that gas will be made available to Dadri and other power projects in pipeline subject to availability. The decision is without prejudice to the outcome of RIL-RNRL court case in Bombay High Court.Hydroelectric projects:Infrastructure development activities for 1000 MW Siyom and 700 MW Tato II commenced.Hydrological Aspects of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) of both Siyom and Tato II submitted to Central Electricity Authority (CEA) & Central Water Commission (CWC) for concurrence.Consent to establish for Siyom obtained from Arunachal Pradesh State PollutionControl Board on January 12, 2009.
