E-Clean Inks JV Deal with Agrigenic
The Biotec Foods line of supplements include antioxidant enzymes Cell Guard, Anti-Stress Enzymes, Ageless Beauty, Extra-Energy Enzymes, Runner's Edge, Pacific Sea Plasma and Jet Stress.
Biotec Foods' supplements are sold to consumers through thousands of independently owned health food stores.
Marchi, president of Bio-Clean, said: “The strategy of this joint venture is to rapidly expand the existing business of Biotec Foods in the nutritional supplements industry through the vertical integration of manufacturing, distribution and marketing into a multimillion dollar, private-branding powerhouse.
“While we had previously announced entering into a letter of intent to acquire certain assets of Agrigenic Food Company, both parties agreed that it was imperative to move forward now with a joint venture arrangement so as to take immediate advantage of the opportunities each of the parties brings to the table.”
Philip Kavanaugh, chief technology officer of Agrigenic, said: “The proprietary blend of sprouts and micro-flora in IsoSproutPlex has been Agrigenic's core technology for over twenty-five years, and is responsible for our product lines' commercial success and our longevity in the marketplace.”
Robert Kavanaugh, president of Agrigenic Food Company, said: “Our branded dietary supplements are presently available throughout the US. In addition, we are already distributing our products internationally through third-party, private-branding partners located in Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, Norway and South Korea.”
