Cleveland Selects Valence to Support Clinical Integration Program

Valence's clinical integration solution includes assistance with physician integration strategies, data collection and analysis, performance reporting, and point-of-care tools to support improved quality and efficiencies.

The Cleveland Clinic, through its community physician partnership (CPP), recognized the need to pursue clinical integration as a contracting vehicle and quality of care strategy, creating substantial interdependence among its participating providers.

After an extensive search for the right solution, CPP leadership selected Valence based on their unique ability to aggregate health care data from physicians, hospitals, and other providers.

Additionally, Valence Health has also said that Dan Iantorno will join the company’s senior leadership team as vice president of information technology.

Mr Iantorno is the founder of Coactive Developments. He has more than 13 years of experience specialized in data integration, data cleansing, and master data management across industries. Before founding Coactive, Iantorno was a solution architect and project manager in the Business Intelligence practice at Braun Consulting.

Michael McMillan, executive director of clinic market and network services at Cleveland, said: “We were looking for a partner who could provide the tools and support to meet our goals of improving quality and standardizing patient care.”

Todd Stockard, president of Valence Health, said: “As a result of the vision of Valence's information technology development and SAS analytic teams, Valence has evolved significantly over the past few years. A core competency has become data integration and the ability to piece together multiple, disparate data sources into meaningful information.”
