For the fourth quarter of 2010, the company posted total interest income of $12.96 billion, compared to $13.69 billion for the same period in 2009. Total interest expense was $1.9 billion, compared to $2.19 billion for the same period in 2009.

Total non-interest income for the fourth quarter of 2010 was $10.43 billion, compared to $11.19 billion for the same period in 2009.

For the year ended December 31, 2010, the company posted a net income of $12.36 billion or $2.21 per diluted share, compared to $12.27 billion, or $1.75 per diluted share. Total interest income was $52.79 billion, compared to $56.27 billion for the same period in 2009.

For the year of 2010, the company posted a total interest expense of $8.03 billion, compared to $9.95 billion for the same period in 2009. Total non-interest income was $40.45 billion, compared to $42.36 billion for the same period in 2009. Revenue of $21.5 billion increased 12 percent (annualized) from third quarter 2010.
